We are also honored to present Turtle Island Storyteller Elaine Grinnell, who will share tales passed down by her grandfather.  A Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal Elder, she is also a master basket weaver, drum maker and teacher.

The Suquamish Foundation is a nonprofit organization formed to celebrate the history and ancestral vision of the Suquamish Tribe.  The Foundation endeavors to enhance the culture and well-being of the Suquamish Tribe and its Kitsap neighbors, with projects ranging from small artistic gatherings to historic building projects, such as the Suquamish Community House that broke ground March 11, 2008.
