Goal 1 - Develop resources to fund the Suquamish Tribe’s facility and program needs.
Ø Build the Infrastructure of the Suquamish Foundation
Ø Conduct the Building for Resurgence Capital Campaign
Ø Participate in ongoing capital needs assessment
Ø Assist with the development of the Master Plan
Ø Develop strategic partnerships with local, regional, state, national, and international foundations, corporations, and charitable organizations and programs
Goal 2 - Increase public awareness and appreciation of the culture, history, vision, and activities of the Suquamish Tribe and Foundation.
Ø Participate in annual Chief Seattle Days and other public events, conferences, etc.
Ø Make presentations for civic, charitable, business, and government organizations
Ø Create a PowerPoint presentation(s) covering these topics
Ø Create a video about the Tribe and Foundation
Goal 3 - Protect and share the teaching of the Suquamish and other indigenous peoples.
Ø Research and share the teachings of the Suquamish Tribe
Ø Participate in NCAI and related efforts of the World Indigenous People’s Movement
Ø Support youth, adult, and elder programs that promote the preservation and sharing of traditional knowledge and values
Goal 4 - Work for a sustainable environment and economy for all facets of the community, honoring the seven generations that preceded us and the seven generations that will follow us.
